We Help the Republic Party Build County Committees

Why A Committeeman Is So Important!

What every conservative — including YOU — needs to do ASAP: Become a voting member of our party.

Why? For too long, many of our elected GOP politicians have ignored their constituents.

For example, we must elect state legislators who will pass election reform laws that ban imaging machines for counting votes. We must return to the “gold standard“ of counting votes: hand-counting at local polling locations before the paper ballots are allowed to leave the premises and making voting by mail the exception and not the rule. Again, the first step in taking back our government: elect better people. By taking back the Republican Party from those running it now.

That means YOU become a District committeeman for your voting District. (District committeeman are called different things in different states precinct chair, precinct delegate, precinct committee officer, member, etc.; the bottom line is that you want to become a voting member of your local or county committee, and it is not difficult to do.)

What Is County Committee

County Committee (CC) is the first layer and grassroots foundation of the political party. It is made up of ordinary citizens that are empowered with powerful rights/powers and responsibilities that play a big role in New Jersey politics. For most counties, the CC will vote on “the line” to determine which candidates appear first on the ballot in primary elections (these candidates rarely lose the primary election). Also, vacant positions between elections are filled by a CC vote (i.e. in event of death). The interim individual will then typically run and win in the next election. Further, CC members are invited to meet with elected officials and candidates, affording opportunities to build relationships, share concerns and vet candidates.
